272. One time, Artemis and Robin got into a huge fight. They were swearing and name calling and Artemis had gotten to the point where she called Robin a dick. He immediately burst out laughing and couldn’t stop. It only made Artemis even more pissed because she had no idea why he was laughing at her perfectly good insult.

Spitfire Week, Day One! I have to play a day of catch up so hopefully I’ll have today’s picture up later as well.

I don’t know why I suddenly decided to draw them as the Eleventh Doctor and River Song, but whatever its cool (bow ties are cool). I’m really surprised I didn’t end up doing an Avatar or Pokemon mash-up.

This is Artemis. She is five years older and wiser than when we last saw her in season 1. And I am so thrilled when I watch her especially now. Look at the smile on her face. She’s so confident and secure about herself even with having been inactive for a bit. But seriously…screw all the shipping crap right now, and just look at this girl! Like…my god…she’s so happy to be back doing what she loves, and like hell she’ll have anyone tell her what to do. This is what she wants to do till the day she dies because she knows it’s right for her. She knows that at the end of the day the arrows she uses will make some kind of impact on their future. And this makes her happy. She can live with the sacrifices as long as that exhilaration is still there. That desire  to just keep fighting and tearing down walls. Seriously…I don’t know what I would do if she wasn’t in the series. Because this episode really just makes me realize how essential she is to the team. How loved she is. What a brilliant fighter she is even when she is out of practice. Imagine what she would be like if she kept at it daily? LSKFJSLDKfjS
